Rochdale Road Race

I got over to the town of Rochdale, to watch and take photos for Team Wheelbase at the Rochdale Road Race on July 4th. There was plenty of action, a crash apparently, it was a little wet on the roads.
Le Tour de Staveley

In celebration of the Tour de France setting off in the United Kingdom and the huge interest it generated, Staveley company Wheelbase organised a Tour de Staveley Saturday. The 33-mile, non-competitive cycle ride takes in the countryside around Underbarrow, Brigsteer, the Lyth Valley and then a King of the Mountains' climb from Lindale to High Newton.
Open Adventure, Open 12

This is the first year of the Open12 - 12 hours of adventure in the Yorkshire Dales. The Open12 at its core will include mountain biking and trekking (running) but will be peppered with Open Adventure's 'trouser fillers' and special stages. This is a great way for those new to Adventure Racing to cut their teeth on some real adventure.
