Crumpler Bags

If your going out on an adventure with your camera you will need a good camera bag to avoid damage and so the camera is stored correctly. Over the past year I have used 2 Crumpler Camera Bags and there doing there job perfectly!

Crumpler Stunner Camera Bag

Crumpler Stunner Camera BagIf you only have one SLR camera body with one lens connected, a flash unit and some accessories then this back is for you!

This is the contents that fits in my bag:

  • Canon 350D SLR with attached Canon 17-85mm lens.
  • Canon Speedlight 430ex.
  • Lens Hood.
  • Medium bar of Kendal Mint Cake, if any competitor or I need some sugar!
  • Sachet of Desiccant Silica Gel, to soak up any drips.
  • 3 x Canon NB-2LH batteries.
  • 3 Sets of Hama AA batteries, if you get 2600mAh they will last longer.
  • Canon RC-1 Remote for Camera.
  • Spare 2Gb compact flash card.
  • Pentax Lens Cloth.
  • Personal Cards with my email and web address on.
  • Food, pen, map, money, mobile, glasses case and other things.

The bag is designed for the outdoors and such has a tough outer material that can stand rain. Adding to that is a cover for the main compartment so rain can touch your camera, if it's open. The semi rigid compartment dividers in the middle of the bag can be moved around to your needs.

Additionally I have a Lowe Pro Bottle Bag, so I can carry water in a 500ml bottle and some food for the day, This attaches to either side of the bag. The main strap on the bag is wide enough so you do not end up with a dead arm by the end of the day and it is adjustable.

Bought from Wiggle for £54.99 - Rating: 4/5
Why 4/5? because it could do with being a little bigger i.e. for another lens.

Crumpler Puppet Camera Bag

Crumpler Puppet Camera BagIf you have 1 SLR camera body with one lens connected and a 3 lenses ranging from 10-22mm, 17-85mm and 70-200mm then this bag will do you fine!

This is the contents that fits in my bag: (bold being the other things that can be fitted in)

  • Canon 10-22mm lens.
  • Canon 70-200mm lens.
  • First aid equipment.
  • More food and other goodies.

Again this bag has a tough exterior, but is able to carry much more than the Stunner. Again you can attach a Lowe Pro Bottle Bag to one side, but also if you have a tripod you can attach it with the straps provided. The internals of this bag are well padded and can be taken out of the bag (not sure why), there are plenty of internal dividers, plus a large soft one to keep your camera in place.

Also in this bag is a pocket bag for your small laptop and some more goodies.

The only let down with this bag is the size of the external pockets and the ease of getting into them.

Bought from Wiggle for £139.99
Why 4/5? because the external pockets could be more accessible.
